Kia’s Nightfall Edition run of the Telluride is a special edition named for the full moon that will appear on September 28, 2021. This limited-edition SUV is available in white and black exterior colors, while a combination of blue and brown interior tones gives it a warm, inviting look.

Unlike the standard Telluride, which gets black or white wheels, Nightfall Edition models get a unique set of 21-inch black and silver three-spoke wheels with low-profile tires. Nightfall Edition models also get a unique front fascia and grille with the Kia logo in red.

Safe Exit Assist

The Safe Exit Assist system is a welcome safety feature that is unique to the Nightfall Edition of the 2021 Kia Telluride. With this technology, if you are sitting in one of the front seats and open your door when the transmission is in drive or neutral, the system will issue a warning chime.

If you continue to open your door, it will stop you from doing so and won’t allow you to move forward. You can still open your door if your transmission is in reverse or park as this feature does not apply.

AWD Modes

The new 4×4 system has two modes to help you navigate tough conditions. Normal mode will give you front-wheel drive for safety and optimal performance for everyday driving. Kia UVO

Kia’s UVO infotainment system comes standard with a 6.5-inch touch screen, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a full suite of safety features. UVO is available in four trim levels — all the way from the base LX to the upscale Premier — with numerous features and packages that can be added as you move up through the line.

The UVO system is easy to use while still providing access to information at your fingertips through voice commands or touch-screen controls. You can control your climate and audio settings, as well as make phone calls and send texts through steering-wheel-mounted controls.

Kia DriveWise

The Telluride is also equipped with Kia DriveWise, a collection of driver-assist and safety features. The available smart cruise control feature can be used to set and maintain a safe following distance from other vehicles, while the active lane control feature can help keep you centered in your lane by making slight steering adjustments.
