Comparing the 2022 Kia K5 Trim Levels

2022 Kia K5 LX

The base trim package for the Kia K5 is the LX. It comes standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which is able to produce 175 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. You’ll notice that it is turbocharged for better performance. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which allows you to choose from automatic or manual mode.

The standard features for the Kia K5 LX include things like remote keyless entry, push-start ignition, air conditioning, backup camera, cruise control, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, and more. The infotainment system has a 6.5-inch display monitor with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto compatibility.

2022 Kia K5 GT-LINE

The GT-LINE trim package raises the Kia K5’s performance and adds more comfort to its features. It comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces up to 275 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Both the transmission and engine are paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which can drive in manual or automatic.

The GT-LINE trim package has a few extra features that the LX doesn’t, such as an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat (with lumbar support), sunroof, panoramic roof, xenon dual headlamps, LED daytime running lights, heated and ventilated front seats, push-button ignition, steering wheel mounted audio controls, and more.

2022 Kia K5 EX

The EX trim of the Kia K5 has all the features of the GT-LINE and adds to it. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine produces up to 300 horsepower, and 310 pound-feet of torque. You can also choose from driving modes that will switch from manual to automatic with the push of a button. You can choose from sport, eco, and smart modes which automatically adjust to your current driving conditions.

The suspension system receives a makeover with new shocks and springs that add to the ride. There is also a new steering system that provides more feedback for you to know what is going on with your car.

The EX trim also includes features such as LED headlights, ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, heads-up display, navigation with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a wireless phone charging pad, and more.

2022 Kia K5 GT

The GT trim package is a high-performance model of the Kia K5. It has a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that is able to produce up to 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The power is transmitted to the wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which can be paired with automatic or manual driving modes.

The comfort features include an optional 12-speaker sound system. you can also get the optional surround-view monitor for more visibility. The seats are upgraded as well with the SynTex fabric for added comfort and durability.
